THE TRACK:
This track was recorded in the winter of 2015-16 I think.
I tried to modernise the Irish lyrics from their original Archaic Irish to Modern Irish and apologise to the more learnéd out there who understand the butchery performed.

After laying down the vocals, piano, synth and bodhrán Seán O' Sullivan added further sonic trickery and recorded an amazing performance by John Meskill on his Dord Íseal (a replica of a bronze age Irish horn - no, not a didgeridoo, resurrected by Simon O' Dwyer a couple of decades ago) which enhanced the song no end.

The artwork was created by Mairéad Mc Guinness why spent a spell of time travelling around the area to inspire what I think visually is the perfect accompaniment to the music.
I have taken a small part of the artwork entitled "Donn" and put it with the song. The full masterpiece can be viewed an a print purchased on Mairéad's bigcartel page.
